A very nice Gate leg Table, it has lovely highly carved twist legs
(just look at the photo's at the fabulous quality) It is in an excellent clean working condition.
It has a lovely rich warm dark patina.
It is a fabulous piece that would look great anywhere.
It is a great space saver as it folds down, ideal for houses BIG or small, Cottages or Apartments!
The well figured top has a nice narrow central panel, which allows it to be stored easily without
taking up too much space, and two good sized drop leaves which give plenty of space when open.
The base has pretty plain turned column legs, two of which swing out to support the leaves, and nice bottle feet.
The table is in excellent condition, commensurate with its age. It has the usual knocks and scratches
and the odd bit of polish missing from the base, and some signs of age in the top, but this only
adds to the character of the table in our opinion.
This table is a very useful bit of 1930's dining or kitchen furniture and would grace any home,
either period or modern.
Magnificent turn of the century gateleg table.
